Bugsville
Cypress Gardens has been invaded by bugs—and and we love it! The “Bugsville” children’s area is now open for business at the park. Featuring plenty of pint-sized fun, “Bugsville” includes rides, games, two bounce houses and a climbing play structure. And don’t forget the bugs; new characters have also been introduced at the park.
“Bugsville” is designed to invoke a larger-than-life feeling or a “bug’s-eye” view, with oversize props and theming. Various children’s rides such as the “Fireman’s Brigade,” “Junior Ramp Masters” and “Super Trucks” are joined by three new attractions. All three encourage high energy activity, with two themed bounce houses and “The Honeycomb Climb,” a climbing play structure. A selection of games is also in the area as well.
Every town needs residents and “Bugsville” comes with its own. Buzzy, Lady B and Whiff have moved into Cypress Gardens and have immediately gone to work entertaining the guests. Buzzby is a bee with a knack for finding fun and trouble. Whiff is a stink bug with a reputation for being a little stinker and Lady B is the lady bug charged with keeping them all in line.
The characters will also appear in a new show debuting in the Bugsville Theater on June 2nd. “A Bugsville Adventure” features Molly, a little girl who finds herself on a fantastic journey through “Bugsville,” where she meets the gang and discovers a surprise at the end of the show.
