Country Jamboree Weekend at Cypress Gardens April 19-20
Cypress Gardens, FL - Saddle up the family and head to Cypress Gardens’ Country Jamboree Weekend April 19-20 to enjoy some down home Southern treats and knee slappin' entertainment while supporting Regional FFA and 4-H clubs.
Regional FFA and 4-H clubs have been invited to participate in a Chili Cook-Off at the park on Saturday, April 19 that will benefit local schools. Park guests can purchase a spoon for $5 to taste more than 20 chilis prepared by the teams. Each team is asked to prepare 10 gallons of chili that will be judged for different prizes including: best overall chili followed by second and third place, best topping for the chili and most exotic chili. The top prize of $1,000 is up for grabs to the best overall chili. Teams are asked to decorate their tent and the best-decorated tent will also receive a cash prize. Chili tasting starts at 11 a.m. and runs through 1 p.m. followed by the awards ceremony at 2:30 p.m. in the North Ski Stadium.
Also on Saturday, don’t miss some rockin' country entertainment during the Charlie Daniels Volunteer Jam. Grammy winner Charlie Daniels, Shooter Jennings and .38 Special will be live on stage beginning at 6 p.m. The show is included in park admission. Complimentary bench seating is available or guests can bring a lawn chair to relax in. Reserved seats in front of the stage are available at an additional $40 to park admission.
For those seeking some adventurous entertainment, park visitors shouldn’t miss the lasso-twirling cowboy on Sunday, April 20. The entertainment continues on Sunday with a Country DJ and clogging throughout Jubilee Junction.

Both days of Country Jamboree Weekend park guests can enjoy live Bluegrass music on the main stage. This is the perfect opportunity for guests to tap their feet or swing their partner round 'n round! Children nine and under are invited to dress up in their cowboy or cowgirl outfit on Saturday and Sunday to enjoy a free ice cream or grab a keepsake photo with a fun country theme.
